Green patches

Sunday night/Monday morning the son of a friend of mine was leaving a bar in Lafayette. He was approached by 5 men and told that he needed to join their club or they were taking his bike, a 2012 Harley davidson fatboy. He replied "what?". He was then beaten and his bike was taken. My question is who wears the green patches? And are they local to lafayete or a larger group?
