near Bedford on a whole lot of land.
I've done the firebed before. Along with heating rocks and surrounding myself with them. When I was in my teens and teaching myself outdoorscraft I spent a lot of cold wet nights because my gear was crap, so I got really good at keeping warm enough to sleep at night. The firebed was the coziest I ever slept though, about 35f and I had to keep rolling over, but I stayed warm enough to sleep most the night.
