Great morning for the boy!

My son shot his first coyote this morning with a fantastic 125 yd. shot! While celebrating his great shot, a deer (button buck) runs out of the corn and gives him a shot at 20ish yards, and he made the best of it! Needless to say, he was one excited boy, and I'm one proud dad!

You're not kidding! ...Oh yeah, I kinda forgot to mention that after he dropped the coyote, I took a shot at another coyote running off the field and SCOPED MYSELF! I was bleeding all over the place when he shot the deer. It was awesome!

What caliber did your son use?

He shoots a .44 handi rifle. I hand load his rounds with 10 GRS. of unique under a 200 gr. Nosler jhp. He's now taken 3 deer and a coyote with the gun. He told me yesterday that he LOVED his rifle.
The coyote dropped like the hammer of God just dropped on him! Couldn't believe it.
