Dragging up an old thread, but I am about halfway through a book titled Saratoga by Richard Ketchum. It is truly outstanding! Incredible detail, very well researched, and enjoyable to read. I can't recommend it highly enough. The best part is that used copies can be found really cheap on Amazon and eBay. He also wrote a number of other books on other Revolutionary War topics. I will be getting all of them, I enjoy this one so much.
