    Literally, junk, please stay away. If you asked about a Dawson rail, not so bad, great construction. But I've seen two of those Mako POSes and they are to be avoided at all costs. They are flimsy, floating zero (and one we removed the optic being used and put it on a rifle and no deviation due to the scope), etc... A lot of those types of mounts sometimes are close to the ejection port and can bounce a casing back into the action area, causing a jam. All in all, avoid some of those, but maybe look into the RMR concept (micro red dot mounted on the slide). Some have had great success with it, provided you use a good dot.

    If you are looking to tackle this project on the cheap or make something that "looks cool", you may be throwing money away...
