I have enough that I don’t need to pay that much. I’ll go to $0.40/round just to build deeper inventories but that’s it.

just like 9 mm. I have a ceiling.

I also set my ceiling for 223/5.56 at 40cpr so I haven't bought any for weeks. I've just been steady watching it climb. But I'm hoping next year I'm not mad at myself for not buying at 70cpr. Although right now I'm seeing resistance at 70cpr for plain ol brass 55gr fmj

yeah, I’m hoping things will be better by spring. I will reload through the winter and do more dry fire work. This is kinda good discipline for me to establish a good dry fire habit with some live fire. Which I will shoot some 9 and then round out the day with.22

Pick up 500 rnd of 223 tonight at a Stock and Field in Elkhart. $240.70 with tax.
To bad that they didn't have much of any other calibers.

Just for the heck of it I pop on ammoseek to see what the latest numbers are. I would never have believed that Wolf steel case 9,s would be just shy of .60 pr.

Wow. We really using technicals to decide when to buy? :):

I try to hedge my inventories by buying when stock is available and pricing is reasonable. Because I do that, I will buy some at a higher than normal price, but I don't want to buy too much that my average price per round moves to a high side.

So, yes, I do use "technicals" to decide when to buy.:)

Fields Outdoor Adventures in Rushville is well stocked with ammo. Full cases of everything except .223/5.56 and .300 Blackout.

Most of it didn't have prices marked, but Heritage 9mm FMJ 115 grain was $500 per case. I counted 26 cases sitting on the pallet.
