Anybody cultivate yellow raspberries? We started looking at this when the gardener got a plant which we kept in the greenhouse and planted this spring. It has spread around and is still producing berries today, ate three this evening. We are looking at moving this plant to the new garden and getting more going as they can start from cuttings.
I have 2 kind of reds (unknown varieties), one of them still has a few berries coming on

What about those nifty lids I see? Do they play any special role? Looking into the information you provided. Thank you.

The lids and half gallon jars simplify fermentation a lot IMHO. The lids let escaping fermentation gass out, without letting oxygen in.

I started with the nipple kind and moved to this other style, that is also much cheaper. I also like the hand vacuum pump that comes with it for the designed use and others.

The glass weights are handy also. Look for the kind that are made with finger grasping in mind.
