Not much of a story but here goes. I was at a gun shop earlier today to drop off a barrel for some work and some guy walks in, walks up to me and asks if this store sells "switches for guns". I tell him "I doubt it, but I don't work here". So he walks up to an employee, poses the same question and gets a resounding No. He leaves, I go up to the counter to drop off my barrel and I ask "sO yOu GuYs DoN't SeLl GlOcK sWiTcHeS hUh?" and we had a good chuckle and I left.

I love full auto as much as any other patriot, but people like him are the reason we can't have nice things.

Did I pick the right subforum for this?

Likely not an agent. More likely CI working off charges or years, usually on something non-gun related like drugs. They are caught in other states and then moved around by the feds. Plop them in crappy hotels and given a list of addresses.

I have seen them at the 1500. Heck, one of them tried to buy an HK91 off me with an Illinois DL, lol. I asked how many levels he was promised. Turned red and ran out.

We got one or 2 at Galyan's back in the day. "How much extra not to fill out the yellow sheet?" Lol.

I was starting to wonder that myself. Covered in tattoos, talking ebonics, rotten teeth, there is no way in tapdancing hell that he was employed as an agent of the AFT.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Galyan's and yellow sheets, brings back fond memories.... As for the OP's episode, INGO forum decorum prevents me from expressing my thoughts on the gentleman in question so I'll just say God Bless his little heart.

Galyan's was my night and weekend job during undergrad. Many adventures--crossbows, fish thrown over fences, straw buyers and a federal prosecution, a Glock misadventure, fishing lure impalement, chasing shoplifters over Jordans, helicopter moms, a German tourist tipping me a "first quality" muzzleloader, inter alia--need to sell some stories to Hollywood, lol.
