    Why was I just envisioning a debate about which calibers would be most effective on 'dillos?? Obviously, the answer is NOT 9mm.

    Personally, I vote for .357 or .44 Magnum. Let's see the little suckers bounce that kind of round!!

    I'm almost willing to bet that it hit the ground first - and then ricochet.

    Or was FMJ and came out of the barrel, went through the 'dillo, off the ground, into granny, nothing but net.

    When I was poor and lived in Florida, I shot an armadillo with a .22 LR. It dropped like a sack of wet cement. My hunting partner and I would go squirrel hunting and bring home anything that was legal to take and edible. Actually, as I remember, the armadillo tasted pretty good.
