    I don't have the tactical model but I do have a 509 midsize optic ready with a SRO on it.

    being a striker fire, the stock trigger wasn't that great so I did put an after market trigger in it. made it much more bearable. I used the apex trigger kit.

    Quality pistol. Very similar to G19/17, CZ P10s, S&W M&P, etc. Really boils down to your budget, preferences and what feels good in your hand.

    Ergonomically the FN 509 is second to none and tied with the best of that class of pistols. The trigger leaves you wanting more, but that can be fixed. I always look at Youtube reviews from people I trust when I am considering a new gun. Let us know what your impressions are once you decide.

    Ran across a deal on one of these, curious what the thoughts and experiences are for this model?
    My nephew has one and I wasn't impressed with them. After shooting my CZ P10F and letting him try it then going back to his 509 there was no comparison. The CZ was better in every way possible.
