Got off the phone with my cousin who lives in Mexico City (actually most of my mom's side of the family lives in Mexico City). Here is what he told me (he's a Sophomore in High School).

    • The entire city is on lock down mode, no one can come in or leave
    • NOBODY is allowed outside unless you have a special government pass which is only being issued to police, military and some gov. officials
    • All schools and closed
    • All business are closed (he is craving for a McDonald's burger)
    • Everything will remained closed until 05 May 09
    • Water & Bread Trucks come by once a day to give each family 2 liters of water and some bread if you don't have anything to eat at home. Masks are also being passed out as well.
    • Phone lines are jammed and internet is spotty at best as the system is being overloaded
    • It's pretty boring staying at home with nothing to do

Another update, my wife & daughter both seem to have recovered from their bouts with the flu, I however developed pneumonia, albiet it's relatively mild & I have no previous resperatory health problems, but it finally forced me to go to the doctor & get treated.

I am not real happy about it, I've missed the last 4 trap shoots because of this stupid bug.
