Don't forget Facebook marketplace...deals can be had.I've been shopping for my first saw and it's a tough decision. I've been hoping a deal at a pawn shop will make the decision easy

Got my new Stihl fired up today!
Did you find a saw? Size and cc you’re looking for? How much usage= type you need. Campfires vs full time usage.I've been shopping for my first saw and it's a tough decision. I've been hoping a deal at a pawn shop will make the decision easy
Facebook marketplace, but the good deals go quick. I searched for a few days then picked up a lightly used, next to new saw for 40% of retail...every time I got curious and looked in at a pawn shop it always seemed the prices were amazingly high
How did they leave hickory off the chart? Probably between Osage and white oak.A friend of mine shared this chart regarding wood BTU by type ranking.
Dig your wood wagon.Yesterday before the snowmageden-22/death storm of the century.. cut some more of the ash there. Very solid and burns really well. Dropped a dead white oak into the field and cut some of it for the really cold weather coming. Back at it after this snow event View attachment 243759
About 60# tongue weight just lifting it on the ball and estimating weight 400#?? I have a tool box that mounts on the front of it.I was just getting ready to ask about the wagon as well. What do you estimate the weight of the wagon to be when empty?
That is a sharp trailer. Please get pics of your log splitter. Would love to see thatAbout 60# tongue weight just lifting it on the ball and estimating weight 400#?? I have a tool box that mounts on the front of it.
It was made by the gentleman we bought our house from. He was a welder at gm.
He also built the log splitter in the barn. Very heavy duty and well made. I’m currently changing the motor and valve on it.. it has an engine hoist that rotates 180 degrees on it. I need to get pics of it and share. View attachment 243859 View attachment 243860
