I’ve been thinking about looking into acquiring an FFL and SOT license. Ideally so I could do some low volume buying and selling for profit / conduct transfers / being able to handle / sell NFA guns and items / silencers.

I’m sure there are downsides I haven’t thought about so I was kind of hoping someone here that has an FFL / SOT would chime in and have some advice.

Maybe ultimately it’s not worth it but I’m still researching. Ideally I would want to move at least enough to cover my annual costs.

I did see I need a separate state license as well but it doesn’t look like a huge complication.
