I am looking around at lights for the rail on my XDM. I was wondering what other members prefer.

What do you like best on your XDM?
What do you like best on your Any handgun?

This will go on my night stand XDM for legal home defense purposes. I am looking at a budge around 100-$150 but could justify more if the light/mount is every thing I want:

    Features I want:
Push once to turn on- around 7 lumans for at night
push twice for full power strobe maybe 70-160 luman strobe.

So any suggestion. I am a noob at tactical handgun lighting and flash lights in general.

It is very hard to beat the TLR1s for cost an quality, the next alternative is atleast $100 more expensive.

Streamlight tlr1 or tlr1s. I have the tlr1 that is mostly used on my glock 22 but i have used it on my xd45, and I don't have a bad thing to say about it.

    This.

And this. I have a TLR-1 on my duty G22 and love it. Very bright and I like the fact it has a momentary or constant on option. I recently purchased a TLR-1s which will be mounted on my AR.

A strobe throws me off in the dark, I prefer a momentary on with an option for latched on. I've got a couple Streamlight TLR-1 lights and I like them- Reliable, light weight, and definitely bright enough for inside the house.
