    My main concern would be a possible zero shift every time you change the batteries. And on the older 500 series Eotech's like that, the batteries don't last nearly as long as the new ones (along with several other issues such as the mount and battery contacts). My other concern would be the controls don't look very ergonomic, and that may or may not be an issue depending on what role you're using it for. If you want to shoot critters at night, constant on might be fine. If you're using it in a defensive scenario, something with a momentary switch that is easily accessible (and preferably slaved to a light) would be advantageous.
