Why is the UK banning American XL Bully dogs?

The UK's prime minister says he wants the breed outlawed by the end of the year.

What a bunch of idiots.. 99% of the time aggressive dogs are the fault/result of the human responsible for their care.

Not surprising.
They outlawed so-called "zombie knives" a few years ago. Apparently they are more pointy and dangerous than regular knives ...

Same with dogs. Blame the tool/dog and not the user/owner.
What a bunch of clowns.

They had 220 deaths last year due to drunk drivers but nothing is done to outlaw booze.
They had 8 deaths due to dog attacks last year.
