In addition to the donations that many members were so gracious to give, I wanted to give the family something more personal.
Something they could physically see and touch. Something they could keep forever. Something to honor the husband and father.

I've been working on this for about a week, and it isn't yet complete, but I thought I would share with those that Bigtanker touched
in some way, or other. There's still a lot of hand finishing, and hopefully a glaze to enhance the depth.

There are other members, that would also like to give a little something extra to the family, and I'm going to add those things to a box, along with this,
as a Memorial package.

If anyone would like to add to the box, I would be happy to include it. You can PM me, and we can make the arrangements.

I want to thank everyone for the kind comments.

I neglected to mention this is 8x10 and it's coming along nicely.
I've been working on it some today.
I need to get a frame for it still. Normally I would make one, but
the temps prevent shop time.
It should be finished in a few days.

What happened to basic frames? Everything was gaudy, with
guilding, crystals, along with many other embellishments.
All I need is a basic frame.

The one I stopped at, had limited supply, and they had the same artsy type out of what was available.
I may end up having to make one, if I can't find one.

On the plus side, I think I have the glazing finished. Not sure I like it though.
I'll get a pic posted soon. It will probably be without the frame though.

Haven`t been in one in a bit , but Khols used to have a pretty good selection .

I looked on there, and they sell in packages also.
Plus, without Prime, the shipping kicks you in the berries.

I have a lot of unfinished projects, simply because of something similar to this.
I couldn't find what I needed.

If the temp would get up to 40* (), I could make one.
