Taking a break from changing out my water heater. Was thinking how doing my own repairs is both a blessing and a curse. Yes, I save money and know the job is done right. However, the time it takes in doing the work sometimes gets old.
BTW - Anyone want a 13 year old Richmond 50 gallon electric water heater? Nothing was wrong with it other than age. Was flushed every year. Just decided to put in a new one. It sits in our laundry closet next to the dining room of our single story house. It was not sitting in a drain pan. Did not want to wake up to a possible leak in the middle of winter.
