Mine doesn't change with the season, just the destination.

I OC a G19 most days. If I'm going somewhere that requires discreet carry, I pack out my MP Shield 9 or LCP if I really need to be discreet.

Thought this might be an interesting topic for a poll.

Does your typical carry bun vary with the season?

For example, do you carry a full-size .45 in the winter, but a .380 pocket gun in the summer (that would be YES), or do you carry a mid-size 9mm year round (that would be NO).

Not to bust your chops but I carry a gun. I have found a "Bun" not to be effective in a self defense situation.......................:D

My EDC changes with wardrobe. This could be a seasonal thing.

Typically what I wear decides my gun choice however during hunting season I'll most always have my dan wesson 357 10 in barrel on my hip and very rarely get funny looks

The reason for that choice, It may be part of the reason I have had to switch to something smaller this winter due to 21 pounds of weight gain since a heart attack last april and no longer smoking......This sucks, but being dead is worse I think.

Mine changes depending on if I'm going to Ruths Chris or Long John Silvers. If I'm going to Ruths Chris I wear my 1911 it is after all a sophisticated gun for a sophisticated man looking for a sophisticated dining experience. For Long John Silvers the Glock will do.

I said yes, but with a caveat. The only time I don't carry my 1911, is when I ride the motorcycle, then I carry the Model 66 .357 magnum with a thumb break retention holster.
