So the dems think running Joe is their best bet for success. Kamala has super low approval ratings and Newsom is too extreme. They don't have anyone in the wings right now that is a shoe-in but there are still enough never trumpets out there that would vote for a semi-senile old man over trump.

But what about Newsom as Joe's VP? Joe runs from the basement again with Newsom being quiet in the background as his running mate. his handlers just make sure they both keep their mouths shut and biden wins the election. Sit tight 3 to 6 months and the dems more than happily agree that he is not suited for office, they help get him removed, and now we have Newsom in the presidency.
This presupposes that “the dems” are in agreement that Newsom is the unanimous choice, he is not, there is a power struggle behind the scenes to be the choice and some hoping their choice that may not really want to run is the choice while those on the bidet train doing everything in their power to keep their gravy train running…

NPR is going wall-to-wall trying to rehabilitate the old geezer. There is virtually no news on that platform any more.
Todays NPR is nothing like what it was in the early 80's. I miss the days of listening to Daniel Schorr deliver a balanced commentary on the state of the nation. Like the rest of the news media, NPR had sold its integrity to the uber liberals.

And remember, this is the Party that talks so much about how they are 'saving' the democracy.
When Democrats say they are "saving" Democracy, what they mean is that they are doing everything in their power to institute one Party rule - by the Democrats. They are authoritarian and they want to emulate the PRC. They are pure evil.

    .

Sounds like Team Joe is hopping mad that Garland didn't do more to cover for him and quash the "too infirm to stand trial" determination.

Garland may already be moving into the orbit of Biden's successor, whoever that may be. He has always bee a solid machine man, and may be moving to another part of the big machine. Chicago is where he's from, working for Abner Mikva. Watch for others in the near future.

Perhaps. Or they are just going through the motions of replacing one puppet with another. The faces my change, but the powers behind the curtain remain the same.
As I said earlier this kind of thinking requires belief in an autonomous organization, one that has no competing factions for power, and that just is not so. While conservatives like lump AOC and Pelosi in the same category, they were using the same issues to amass power and looked like they were on the same side, they actually were in real competition for the same power.

There is an unseen and unremarked power struggle for the dem nomination behind the scenes with Brandon’s puppeteer's and several other factions vying to get the upper hand.

I don't doubt that at all. I think of it as competing Mafia families. They can be cohesive when there is a threat to the group as a whole, but there is plenty of infighting going on as they each struggle to be the dominant power.

Don‘t be anxious to say the socialists are scrambling for a replacement; it doesn’t matter. Understand that the shadow government, whatever you wish to call it, is striving well and has a solid foundation. They have planned for this before ever putting Joe “Lights Out” Biden and I believe that have a plan that will cover every possible direction this goes. We see many of the front line players, second line players, today’s Rino’s and many grooming but what we do not see is all the layers of players behind the scene. When one goes down, they have a stronger player step up. We are 8 months from the election. ALLOT can happen…….allot WILL happen.

They will put whomever they wish and it will play out just fine. It’s all planned out. I doubt they will put in their strongest player to replace Joe. They need to save the “savior” for down the road for when global world is born.
