Nad63 stepped up to take his last turn through the course and said he was just going to finish out a mag he had loaded. I challenged him to shoot the 100 yard target off hand instead of using the barricade for support. Without hesitation he said sure and I'll be darn if he didn't hit the 100 yard steel on the first shot but he followed it up by hitting the 200 and 300 yard steel on the first shot unsupported in off hand position.

I was very impressed! Needless to say Nad63 unloaded and showed clear and said he was going to stop on that note. I don't blame him one bit.

Good Job Nad63 and all the other shooters this weekend. I felt safe and comfortable around you guys all weekend even if you were carrying those scary black rifles around all the time.

I'll be with you. I am too much of a noob to have to focus on the courses/classes/training to have to factor in weather. Once I get a little more time behind a carbine, I would consider doing one during inclement weather, but I admit I am a bit of a fair weather outdoorsman.
