I was watching that video saying to myself “Damn, can she do that there?”

I was thinking maybe there’s an exception for Congresscritters but I guess not. All that having been said, hell yeah I’m on Rep. Lauren Boebert’s side. We need a bunch more like her on Capitol Hill.

It's my understanding that it is legal for her to carry at work, in congress. The issue is how she protects herself on the way to work, back at home and in between.

Interesting how the mayor associated Boebert's self-defense with the "violence" coming to DC in the form of legal protest of election fraud?

So it angers her Mayorness that an elected official would put ......., ........., citizens, .......... at risk.

Uh, you're not letting citizens defend themselves, which puts them at risk. You are a special kind of stupid.

I assumed she would have some kind of parliamentary immunity.
Our Congress folks have that in France, similar to a diplomatic immunity.
They cannot be detained, arrested, searched or prosecuted even if they break the law.

So she can be arrested for walking with a handgun while on her way to her office?

"It angers me that an elected official would incite violence". That woman is so far out in left field...
If carrying a gun is encouraging violence, isn't she doing the same thing by allowing her police officers to be armed in DC?

You should take your TDS to the political forums sir. :nono:
Replied to a politically oriented post, but you are correct its not the right forum and was going to/will let it drop.

Why didn't you admonish the first politically oriented post? was it ok?

Trump has nothing to do with anything in this thread. Liberals creating anti-2A DC law obviously does.

Thank you for "letting it drop."

It's a double standard. These lifetime politicians really don't have a clue what we the people want.
I would be curious to know what kind of security detail the mayor of DC has.
She's a woman telling another woman that the city is safe and that carrying a gun for protection is not needed ...
