OP, curious as to how this Vigil is going? Looking at purchasing one in the future.

Just got one a few weeks ago. I haven't shot it yet, but I've stripped and lubed it, and put simulated rounds on my laser target. LOVE it! Fit and finish is pretty typical of recent DW's, every mating surface looks like it was cut with a microsurgery laser. Sights are dead-on. The only thing that's taking some getting used to is that the grip safety doesn't have the memory bump. No big deal, but that's about the only thing I'd kind of like to see different. It's as nicely done on the inside as it is on the outside.

I got the Commander in 9mm:

I can’t shut up about how my new DW Wraith drips of quality and accuracy. This is my first DW but I’m sure their other models are just as nice.

You can't go wrong with a DW these days. Mine eats aluminum and steel cased ammo all day.

There was a time when the DW line up was not something I would consider at their price point.
Now this has changed. Fit/finish are top shelf by comparison especially for the price point.
    I own one now.

I have shot quite a bit of aluminum ammo in many different guns. Never had an issue with any of them.
I have never shot steel cased ammo in anything but the AKs. Never will.
