I had never thought of bees as pets, but beekeeping is a really neat hobby! We have a friend that is a beekeeper and have learned a lot from him. Truly impressive critters.

My old girl, Smokey, wanted her picture taken today so I just had to share. Leroy was photo bombing the picture, but she just looked so sweet. Smokey was our first cat and has been here since 1997. She is 17 and still doing pretty well for an outside kitty.
