Step-father wants to get his now. I think he's applying this (or next) week. Though I was under the impression you -had- to have digital fingerprints now, he tells me he called someone and they said he could do it at the police department (ink/paper). I tried to tell him that I do not think that is correct and that I thought you had to have digital prints now... I'll give him a call in a week or so and see what he found out. :)

Just went to renew our LTCH this morning in Marion County. Discovered that IMPD doesn't do fingerprints for LTCH anymore; have to go through L-1. I haven't looked at the indygov.org website to see if they say anything about not doing fingerprints anymore. Oh, and IMPD is also closed for LTCH on Tuesdays now.

5 business days for me. Applied online, went to L1, went to city county building and had it 5 days later.

Nice! Another one of the lucky ones.

The process seems so damn random. Glad to see those applying recently getting theirs back fast. Feel bad for the paper print folks waiting months. ISP should let some of their staff work overtime to earn some extra holiday pay by catching up on LTCH applications... :)

Still here. Glad my Sig idea kinda stuck.

I think I got the idea from you.

Have you called or inquired with anyone about all of this?

My step-dad got finger printed the other day, headed to the PD tomorrow (I believe) to wrap up his application. I'll tell him to call me when he gets his in so we can measure new applicant wait time versus old applicant wait time.

You'd think it'd be first in, first out.

Still waiting here. I tried calling the ISP numbers several times and never got an answer. I emailed them and got a out of office reply last week. I got an email today saying they're reviewing a record number blah blah blah. Just give me my little pink paper already.

Did they have a sign posted in the building? I can't find any info on indy.gov. I just finished my ISP printing and was planning on walking over to city-county at lunch to finish up the local part.

I just turned in my local portion yesterday (paid L-1 and state fees online). They were quoting me 14 weeks for clear record (which I would fall into) and 20+ weeks if you have any history. So we'll see, I'll keep you posted.
