    Good on him.

    But in the pic showing him standing on the submerged truck, doesn't that look like ANOTHER vehicle submerged about 40' behind him? There may be a greater problem here.

    +1 for the officer.

    I know if it were my pets, I would do anything to get them out, and hope that If I wasn't able to an officer or other concerned citizen would assist.

    Well yes! Why do you think the officer revived it?

    I figured the reviving was accidentally. He kicked it in the chest repeatedly and yelled "stop resisting" in its face so loud that the breath forced its way into his lungs, simulating CPR.

    The woman will probably sue for 1) damage to the doors and roof, getting out the dog and, 2) for the Officer NOT getting her car out of the lake.

    I wonder if this woman is related to Michael Scott ("The Office")? :laugh:
