Bad loss for the TE group. Ogletree was having a great camp.

Practice is done for the day. Sounds like our passing offense absolutely dominated the Lions defense. Pittman Jr and rookie Alec Pierce making big plays all over the place. Ogletree going down with an injury really sucks. Couple small scuffles but no big fights.

Thankful for no injuries to the starters.

Reich told the media that basically none of the starters will play in the preseason game on Saturday. Music to my ears.

Pretty uneventful game overall. Liked what I saw from Mike Strachan and Dezmon Patmon. Another game with no significant injuries.

Got the Bucs next Saturday night and then it’s on to Houston for the first one that counts on 9/11.

Nice final drive, to bad on the go for two. Thought they might try to power in on a run. Still good to see the new guys play.

He’s the perfect preseason QB. It’s mostly unscripted and he thrives in that environment.

Still don’t think he has enough arm to be a legit starter, but he might carve out a nice career as a backup somewhere.

Unfortunately for us, I don’t think we’ll be able to hide Ehlinger on the practice squad this year. I think another team will sweep him up. I just don’t see us having enough roster spots to keep 3 QBs.

I don't think we'll carry three qb's. As such, I think Sam E. is gone. It's almost certain another team will claim him before he hits the practice squad. I do think we keep four TE's. With Ogletree out it will be interesting to see who they bring in.

Is anyone watching Hard Knocks (Lions)? Not a lot you can pick up about the Colts in the coverage, but still interesting. The Lions seem to be a pretty undisciplined group... at least based on the scrimmage footage.
