Outcomes that help the Colts today:

    Ravens over the Browns
    Jags over the Titans
    Chiefs over the Raiders
    Lions over the Broncos
    Giants over the Chargers
    49ers over the Bengals
    Bucs over the Bills
So Colts fans want this game to hold up for Vikings and it looks like it will. The Bucs over Bills, Giants over Chargers, and 49’ers over Bengals all help the Colts because these losers are in front of them.

Looking behind the Colts, fans still want to see the Chiefs hold the Raiders back which also reduces the motivation for Raiders to play strong against them. Sorry CM. Last thing the Colts want is a matchup with the Raiders that amounts to a win and in type of game and it well could.

Colts fans also want the Ravens to beat the Browns and the Lions to beat the Broncos.

It will be interesting to see how the Titans are coming off the bye week.

    OMG! We completely agree…. LOL

Browns are killing Ravens and Jackson is out with an ankle injury. They haven't said how bad, but they took him to the locker room on a cart.

The Ravens failed to help the Colts, though as damaged as they are as a team with injuries we may be rooting the wrong direction there. Browns are right on the Colts heels. Jags failed to beat the Titans. Chiefs did beat LV.

Only one of three games went the Colts way in the early round. However the late round has critical game to the Colts. If the Bengals win and the Bills lose the Colts will move into the seventh and last playoff spot…

Wonder why they said the Bengals needed to win?
The tie breaker involves head to head win percentage among the teams that are tied. The Browns beat the Bengals earlier in the season, so if the Bengals are among the teams that are tied then the Browns get credit for that win. However, if the Bengals aren't among the teams that are tied, then the Browns don't get credit for that win. If the Browns don't get credit for that win, then the Colts win over the Bills would give them a better percentage than the Browns. If the Browns get credit for that win, then they tie for percentage and it goes to the next tie breaker, which the Browns would win. (This assumes I actually understand all of this, which is not a given.) Basically, with several weeks left, it is way too early to worry about such things.

If scrambled eggs were written out that is how I imagine it would look typed out. LOL

But it is fun to speculate and root for teams that help the Colts…

As far as playoff odds now…

If we go 3-1, regardless who the loss is to, it’s basically a lock that we make the playoffs.

If we go 2-2, again regardless of who wins/losses are, it’s basically a 50/50 coin flip.
