Some people vote themselves more welfare. Some people vote themselves higher property values. What's the difference?

You can't use your property as a weapon.

And of course, the problem is that we simply don't have the right people on the job. Someone else would have handled this job in a more appropriate fashion. My code enforcer is never wrong, but you can't trust the others.

That lawn looks about normal to me.
That man looks lucky to be breathing.

Code Enforcement officer won't be charged | Columbia County News-Times
When he knocked "the door just swung open". It is like god wanted him to go in there. He says he smelled something?? WTF
To bad she didn't have a real big mean dog that doesn't bark.

Law enforcement can enter your home at any time and for any reason their "team" sees fit. They can also toss your vehicle at any time, for any reason. All the law enforcer needs, is a salivating dog. Or their own, "smell".

The constitution is a complete failure.

All I know is that this guy is a HERO!!! He came upon an offender who was clearly engaged in devaluing the property values of his/her neighbors and acted swiftly to put a stop it it! Sounds like crime in progress an exigent circumstances to me! He deserves a medal.

Oh, not to blame the lady, but next time - lock the door.

Just wanted to make the point.

Out local code enforcement retards are near as bad. They have cleaned up the area and good on them but now they are really reaching to keep their jobs and a steady revenue stream flowing. Lady across the street caught one in her back yard. She is remodeling and has a permit posted in front window. There is a debris pile in the back yard fro the demo. They are not done as yet. He just opened the gate and walked in apparently to site her for the debris pile. Her 2 GSG's lit him up. She almost shot him and the contractors threw him over the fence. Not sure how this will end up but he is a mess.
    Thought Jeremy could relate.

Would have loved to have seen that. PPV material right there.
