I'm not anywhere near a fan of the bailout... but these Doomahsses didn't even bother studying any of the bailouts so far, so these companies are technically within their rights to pay it out.

I don't like it, but our Congress is only one of two things -- incompetent, or they did it on purpose. Either way, fire the whole liberal lot of R's and D's, especially Turbo Tax Tim (T3)

now they're trying to villify the companies for this act they voted to allow.

It's almost like they're trying to lose their jobs this time. I hope they succeed. The American people are by and large gullible, but who can swallow this backwash???

From Wikipedia: bill of attainder (also known as an act or writ of attainder) is an act of legislature declaring a person or group of persons guilty of some crime and punishing them without benefit of a trial. Bills of attainder are forbidden by Article I, section 9, clause 3 of the United States Constitution.

Sounds to me like that is what this is.
