Schumer, the California nut case that basically made the veiled threat of using military and nukes on americans(his name is escaping me atm) and several others have proposed to have the vast swath of Christian denominations (baptists, Lutheran etc) labeled as hate groups and put under the same umbrella as domestic terrorism. Im sure if you look you can find the bills that made these proposals... and yes, for now it is just a few of the fringe leftists but that's how it starts..

If it came down to it, I could give a **** all about the 2A, if the Democrats tried to ban Christianity. That simply beyond the pale. That would be something that people WOULD try to dethrone a govt over. And there would need to be a single Republican to help.

Why is one constitutional right more important than another? Why are we "going off the deep end" because we have seen a trend in leftist politics where what the fringe scream today to deaf ears becomes embraced a few years later? Nope. We are all in this together. Challenging different points of view is what makes us better citizens. It also exercises our ability to better express concepts, beliefs and ideas that challenge lazy emotive thinking. We may not agree on issues, but we can agree to respect each other, despite our different points of view.
Ugghhhh, I hate to say it but SnoopLoggyDog is right. Voting people off the island is what progressed our universities to the communist monoculture they have become. Which achieved the communists desire of a multi-generational shift in ideals to one they could manipulate and exploit.
