They’re out past the 12 mile mark in international waters, in retaliation for us sailing ships out past the the 12 mile mark in international waters around the island they are terraforming in the South China Sea.

    Tit-for-tat saber rattling.
    ^This^ is what's going on.

    .
While Act will have a better idea, I would imagine that those ships have unknown followers in close proximity.

Well, that and they are mad about Taiwan.
And they know we have weak leadership.
People always worry about "hardline" leadership.
But it's the weak leaders that invite problems.

With this leadership, I have NO IDEA what.
For all I know, they were caught unawares.

With weak leaders, other people push. When nothing happens, they push again. and again and again.
Till it's so bad that a BIG response has to happen. And then everyone cries.

With a good leader, others know.. better not cross that line.
They'll moan about it, and cry, and scream about "warmongers", but oddly enough, there will be no war.

One good note, the Chinese are not known for their "blue water" capability.
So, extended operations away from their bases, is new for them.
The bad news.. now they are collecting experience.

Operating off someone else's shore.. important.
Knowing how to keep your ships supplied and above water.. way MORE important.
That's experience I'd just as soon they didn't get.

The CCP has this mother ******* **** sucker pretty well figured out. It does not take much to recognize a useless piece of **** when you see one.

The head line from the Ministry of Truth is worth a chuckle.

Just where does Biden figure in this ? Read the article, says it is planned years in advance. Maybe this is what Milley was on the phone discussing, that POS.

So we're really going to enter into world war 3 with a senile puppet at the helm, and our top generals selling out information to China?

It's time to start studying mandarin.

I don't generally worry too much about stuff like this. Our defense systems are top notch and I believe they know that attacking our land is suicide for that fleet. I might be wrong, but I can't see politics stopping a retaliation if an actual attack was launched.
