Have to say, it was ok nothing that I would make the drive for again.
However the steak was well worth the drive. 2 and a half pound porterhouse, melted in your mouth, $20.95.
Oh yeah the wife said her Chicken fried steak was very good.

As was pointed out, fortunately, our IN LTCH is recognized (or at least our right to carry is) in 26 states. The only place between any point in Indiana and any point in Texas where one cannot carry in some form is IL, and as long as you're not in an incorporated area, I _think_ I read that their state law permits carry even then, but only open (and probably not in a vehicle).

Of course, that doesn't mean the IL State Po-po wouldn't make your life hell if you were caught carrying....

    Blessings,
    B

I'm crazy enuff for a steak trip and you can bypass Illinois by crossing over at Evansville to Henderson KY. When I was a wee lad and before Interstate travel we (family) drove to Texas for the annual family vacation.

I was going to, but by the time we get home it would be pretty ripe, but I was thinking what a great place for a get together. Well, next stop The Cracklin festival at Port Barre Louisiana. Then Cajun food, and music. I think I've gained 10 pounds this trip.

    Man, I love my wife!
