Washington Gun Law William T. Kirk just released a video about the lawsuit. Claims and strategy are an obvious attempt to get around the PLCAA.

Draw your own conclusions about this and the proximity of Chicago to Gary.

Well thats guna be a bad lawsuit idea. Glock didn't make or have anything to do with the switch. Thats kinda like suing a car manufacturer for putting truck offroad tires on .

In Illinois it will be rock solid through the entire county and state courts there (Cook County), the Northern District of Illinois Federal Court, and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. The defense strategy may be getting it moved to Fed courts immediately . . . or waiting until all is exhausted in the Illinois state courts, and then going directly to SCOTUS with a Writ of Cert. The Illinois Supreme Court is owned by Governor Pritzker.

1200 rounds per minute! (Per an article about Glock switch). That should quickly end the gang problem as eventually one of the 1200 rounds will hit it's mark. I'd like to see someone who can reload a Glock that fast to get that kind of rate of fire. Would be interesting to watch, and fun to try in a controlled environment (ie we still had an uninfringed second amendment).

And yes my friends, I don't need to be told what rate of fire truly means! Thanks.

Unfortunately this is serious for Glock. More than likely Mediation or total loss of suit will result in an engineering change at the very least. Could be worse as the Rand D trail for Glock may be a cloudy one especially if they chose not to change the production when advised.

The Ford Pinto case, while the deaths and danger were more direct, never cited the actual reckless drivers that were running over these cars.

It is a sad state of affairs when it’s always the people that do the harm, yet Pubs and Crats alike are quick to blame the item and not the usage.

    See you watching Court TV

Those idiot POS politicians and their bottom feeding lawyers can rot in the netherworld! What these idiots are trying to do is find another scapegoat to pin the blame on for their total incompetence at fighting crime! That woke brain damaged idiot of a mayor in Chicago along with big fat Pritzker have got to go and be voted out of the USA let alone Illinois. Yes, I know they are entrenched Democrats who have brainwashed the sheeples. :horse:

I know.....Not LEO'S fault but that's about the only lever Glock has to pull.
(Especially since there is no law against "Municipalities mugging the deepest pockets").

They signed up to enforce FOID and all the nonsense gun laws on the people of Illinois, on behalf of cook county. They're just as perverse and corrupt as the judges are.

It's not their job to police how people monkey with one of the safest pistols out of the box. If it's a consumer product safety issue, why does their police force rely on it?
