    I know there are some stores that require you to clear out your firearm at a desk and pick it up on your way out - or keep it in your vehicle.
    Incorrect. Signs and requests at stores or otherwise mean exactly dick in Indiana.

    Now if you refuse to leave - they can charge you with criminal trespass and/or ban you from the property.
    Removed "to disarm" because again, it simply does not apply.;

    The rest is absolutely true, but does not strictly apply to a person carrying a firearm. It goes for anyone in any situation.

    i called, several years ago, to verify it was legal to carry when going to the polls. the woman was very helpful and told me, at my location, it was fine. and then asked, "do you plan to carry a gun into the polls?"

    "yes. don't you?"

    her answer: "yes."
