I personally use Hogue style grips on my 1911, they're not artsy-fartsy but I personally feel they make my 1911 look very sleek.

Jim, I noticed the safety and was wondering, how do you carry o/s the belt and if so do you have a round in the barrel and on safety. I'm sort thinking that it would be possible to disengage the safety coming out or going in the holster, your thoughts.

I have purchased several pair from Ebay. They were exotic wood with really nice burl patterns, presentation quality even, and I have not paid over $45 yet. Funny that I never carry with the fancy wood. They all wear rubber pachmayr presentation's as I think they are the most comfortable to shoot when you really, really have to get your hand on your gun fast. Mac
