Years ago, when I was in charge of a management staff, if we had a manager turn in their resignation, they were always asked to leave immediately.

Resigning managers often didn't like their pay ending before they had planned. It was explained to them that the immediate separation was as much for their benefit as it was for the company.

In case any financial "issues" might arise during a lame duck period, suspicions would best be avoided by eliminating the lame duck period all together.

Cuomo is taking responsibility for something that he says didn't happen and says that it is all political........is he really going anywhere?

"I didn't realize the standards had changed." Pretty sure grabbing women without consent has been frowned on for quite some time.

But sometimes it's okay if your a Democrat....

And sadly, this is almost certainly the primary motivation. The communist will be quick to sacrifice the white male party apparatchic for what is most important to the party, the propaganda mouthpiece of the party.
Exactly. Chris was right in there helping him weather the controversy and they are hoping that they "put this behind him."

If Cumo was any kind of REAL man he would step down now, not in 14 days. All that he is doing now is getting his political operatives in the right place so he can still be connected and have some influence via his lackies.

It's beneficial to give to give one, it's up to the employer to honor it or not.

I have given a two week notice at every job I have had, and was instrumental in training my replacement each time.
And as an employer I expect two weeks notice. Useful for training and finding a replacement but if someone becomes toxic I will escort them out sooner (but still pay for two weeks).
