Hey guys, I saw a booth with about 4 Tanfoglio Witness Compacts for an incredible price. I almost picked one up but didn't and now I'm kicking myself. I am about to order one at my local shop but there's a wait list and would like to get one sooner rather than later.

My question to you INGOers is this, did anyone see this booth and do you recall the vendor? It was fairly near the entrance I think.

    Thanks.

I went back to that booth a couple times. The price was very good. I know there are a couple on Gunbroker. The price, obviously, isn't nearly as good.

That's why I am kicking myself. It was a touch price to beat but for some reason, I just let it be. My local shop can get them in but there really isnt a timeline when they could get it in. My loss I suppose :noway:

Thank you vwfred69! I will give them a call after work. The ones I saw were the steel models, and I saw a .40 and I think 9mm. I'm looking for a 10mm but will take any, given you can still buy the conversion kits.

I love my EAA Witness in .45acp. It's an all steel model with the "Wonder" finish.

I found mine in "used" condition, but it looked new to me, at an auction a couple of years back.

Almost no-one bid against me. I don't think there were that many there that knew who Tanfaglio was.

I ended up giving $190 for a "used", but apparently unfired condition, and no transfer fee. :D

I wouldn't pass up another steel Tanfaglio if I had the money. Not so much interested in the poly models.

It's good to hear that from someone who has first hand experience. I've read a lot about them but never talked to anyone who's handled them or shot them at any time.

I am interested in getting one, preferably in .45 or 10mm, and then picking up the kits to shoot different calibers of rounds. The weapon seems pretty versatile in that regard.
