I hear military service pays you for training. :D :yesway:

I'm debating taking that route, but you know. :patriot:

Does anyone have an actual figure of what Blackwater charges for their training? I'm sure its not cheap.

There are 3 major governmental/military providers of protective services in the United States:

    1. U.S. Secret Service
    2. U.S. State Department Diplomatic Security Bureau
    3. U.S. Army Protective Security
Getting the training in the military (read: at the government's expense!) through the MP, CID, etc. PS courses is a great way to attain these skills. Depending on your background and interest in serving out of country, Blackwater's high risk PSD are the closest to military operations. However, please be aware that Iraq is discontinuing all contracts with Blackwater and the other companies contracts there for HR PSD are coming to an end. The HR PSD work is moving to Mexico and to anti-piracy assignments.

    Regards,

    Jim
