Pro Tip: Look for Good & Plenty in bags, not those cardboard theater candy boxes. The stuff goes stale in the cardboard boxes and then this candy goes from good to suck. When the stuff is stale you can practically chip a tooth on it.
Good and Plenty goes stale because not enough people buy it because it's gross.

    There's your sign.

Remember back in the 60’s Black Licorice was the original nasty a... flavor of vics 44 cough syrup, discs and other nasty medicines. Enough said.

I'm a big fan of black licorice. I found some black licorice tea and tried it. It's really good. But talking to folks there seems to be strictly a love/hate relationship with it.

So I figured I'd see what INGO has to say about this.

If you do like it, what food, drink flavors have you found?

(Knowing INGO, I better say let's not get this thread into the political side of black licorice. I don't even know what that would be but let's not go there. You've been warned)
I like black licorice and blackstrap molasses too. I think both have a similar taste. Might just be me though. Grandma made us kids hot water and she would pour in blackstrap molasses. We stirred it up and drank it.

Hard to find black licorice around here. Use to get a few bags of black licorice jelly beans about Easter but can't find them anymore. The last bag was black jelly beans, no licorice to them. Get very few of them in a bag of Classic jelly beans. Black licorice and black licorice jelly beans aren't the same.
