Where are the best prices for cleaning supplies in the Indianapolis area? I live on the NE side of the city and I'm looking for something fairly close. I know Gander Mountain's gun prices are usually outrageously high but what about their cleaning products?

Some people think I am joking, but I don't joke about using a shoelace, an old toothbrush, and some kerosene to clean my guns. Wipe it off with an old sock or t-shirt and a few drops of 5W30 for lube and away we go.

Lots of folks feed their families by selling commercial "gun cleaning kits" too.

Walmart is a great place to pick up cleaning supplies.

    :+1:

No need to :spend: or to send my cash:toilet2:

You just have to avoid the five-year-old girls and the crazies that hang out there in Indy. Of course, we don't have those disreputable folks up here in the Fort, so we are safe at Walmart up here.

Best thing about Indy, they keep the crazies down south! :D

The best price is likely at your local automotive supply store. Break cleaner, bearing grease and synthetic engine oil are used by many firearm people.
