    Kid has been in Tulsa for biddness this week. Found handles of Weller SR for $40. Got me the orange bottle of Pinhook for $30, I really like that one. Also got the blue bottle of Penelope for $45, been wanting to try that one.

    I gotta admit that my 2nd round of COVID-19 in early 2023 has really screwed up my pallet. It's maybe s l o w l y returning but I still can't pick out the subtle flavor notes. Almost everything is oak and cinnamon. :(

    Been hearing a lot about this stuff. First time seeing it I snatched a bottle. It's right around $30.

    Honestly, it's not very good. Probably going into a batch of bourbon slush when it gets warm again...
