Beautiful Gun Pen

My wife brought this home to me as a gift from her boss at the American Legion Department of Indiana

This is a hobby/ side business of his and I have to say he is quite talented. He said he can custom make them with options for every piece. Thought I just had to share it ( excuse the cell phone pic, it doesn't do it justice.)

Nice looking pen. It looks like deer antler. Turning is a hobby of mine. There is a business in Noblesville, Woodturningz, that sells the kit to make these. They offer different caliber bullet pens as well. I've made a few and they make great gifts. Nice score.

I make those as well, just never in antler.


And not to brag, but the finish on MY pens are much better.

I enjoy turning pens, and handing them out. I've sold a couple too.

Right now, I'm in the middle of turning a knife keychain.

I use woodturningz, pennstate, Rockler, woodcraft, craft supplies....

Woodturningz is nice because they do engraving.

Very nice pens, and lathe... It's yellow I want to make some pens, but I'd need a lathe, press, and the rest of the stuff to make pens! Did I mention you suck because you have a powermatic lathe?
