I'm looking for a bank that does not support liberal causes; or at least does not openly discriminate against conservatives or libertarians.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried a web search and didn't have any luck.

This will be for personal and business accounts along with anything else I can move to the new bank (credit cards, etc.).

    Thanks.

Bro, your best bet might be your box spring. I can appreciate the adherence to ideology, but wouldn’t you rather have your money insured?
But to answer your question, you may want to look into a faith-based bank, or one who lends to religious orgs.

Dont know about their politics but was reading a thread today about the Patriot party and it looks as though USAA bank is handling the account.

If you already have an account with a major brokerage like Fidelity, they can provide full service banking and credit cards. I am not aware of any of these organizations being terribly involved in politics

Define "support liberal causes" and "discriminate against conservatives". Both of those are open to broad interpretation.

I have heard that German American Bank there in Indiana is neutral. I have no proof, but that's what I heard.
That may be true, but I would have expected neutrality out of Swiss Bank. You don't normally find much neutrality from Germans or Americans.

    .
    Hendricks County Bank and Trust.
    Concur.

I’d suggest myself, but for the time being, we’re a little too far out of town to suggest ourselves for somebody that probably wants to be able to easily walk into a branch.

Hendricks should be a good option. Least, they have been very professional in all of my interactions with them.

I'm not sure why I overlooked the obvious answer. :bash:

You have already provided an auto loan in the past and soon will be my mortgage holder. I've also referred another person to you, and that seems to be a good fit as well.

I don't necessarily "need" to be able to walk into a branch. I can't remember the last time I "had" to walk into my bank.

Let's wrap up this current mortgage and I'll take a closer look at moving some accounts.

I bank with GAB. They were founded in Jasper and still have their headquarters there. I haven't heard of them doing anything against conservatives and I doubt they ever would.

I will add that my mortgage is through Freedom Bank which is another one founded in Dubois County. I know one of the founders and actually go skeet shooting with him several times a year. I have really been thinking about switching to them.

I just cancelled my Amazon Chase Visa and replaced it with a Rural King Harvest card from the Redstone Federal Credit Union. 5% back on everything at Rural King, including guns!
