Auto ordinance M1 carbine.

Just got this , traded my 2 USGI m1,s awhile ago and regret it big time. Wanted another and got sticker shock .
So, bought this for almost half the price , and I'm impressed with the quality. Have only shot it for function and runs great . Watched some YouTube videos and read up on them, the positive out ways the negative on these.
Anyone else have one?, and do you like it?, any issues?.

Yes , from what i have read more accurate than the USGI ones.

Anyone else have one?, and do you like it?, any issues?.

Bought one for a nephew when they first came out (cannot remember which nephew).

It needed an extended break in period. Matt had to take it apart and run a medium India stone over everything. It ran like a sewing machine after that with 10, 15 and 30 round mags.

Are the receivers forged or cast?

The Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine receiver is the revised Type 3 integral operating spring housing, rather than the detachable tube type. The change made for a more rigid receiver and eliminated a source of receiver cracks. The AOC is a wide tang receiver, which is consistent with military receivers made by Saginaw and Auto-Ordnance.
Im really not sure if it's cast or not.
