    Anyone buy any universal 12 in arca rails off Amazon,ebay,etc. Wanting to run one on a bergara bmr trying to find alternatives to spending $100 on a area 419 rail working on a budget trying to get a nrl22 base class rifle together for my daughter

    I haven't bought any arca rails off amazon, but I have bought some pic rail sections and offset mounts. I've got a red dot and a laser as well. The laser was just for fun, not really to serve a purpose so I won't really count that (it worked but you can tell it's not gonna be overly durable). So the red dot functions as a dot should but the adjustment isn't quite true and the zero shifts slightly. Putting in on airsoft or a bb gun would probably be fine. The rail sections function fine, but I'm sure the metal is a lower quality. The dimensions on them weren't held as tight as when compared to more expensive name brand offerings and the finish was a little rougher.

    The bottom line is, they'll work most likely. You're gonna get what you pay for though. If it's anything where you really don't wanna risk having something break or shift, pay a little more. If it's just for fun, you can save a bit and deal with the issues later (if they arise).
