I have an FDE ACS on my carbine. Fully adjustable just like the CTR, including friction lock. The ACS does have the storage tubes on the side, that also give a little bit nicer cheek weld.

It is a bit heavier than a CTR, but functions very well. You won't go wrong with one.

I have no experience with the ACS, but plenty with Magpul products. If it fits your needs go for it. You can't really go wrong with Magpul. :koolaid:

The ACS is adjustable just like the MOE/CTR/etc and the standard M4 stock.

It’s Magpul which means is good to go from a quality stand point.

Had an ACS briefly, but ended up getting rid of it. Looked good and functioned well, but it just didn't "feel" right to me, especially when I used it in conjunction with gear and armor. I also found the placement of the (optional, grr) sling swivel to be a bit funky. Switched to a VLTOR iMod, which was much more agreeable.

I put up this thread awhile back, which you might find of use:

What I liked about the ACS is it seems longer than the CTR so your cheek ends up on the stock not on the buffer tube.
