Anyone do cerakote work in SE Indiana?

Well? I'm wanting the slide on my CM9 made black, but don't want to have to mail it (the slide) far (or at all) so I can get it back as quickly as possible.

Thought about buying a cerakote kit... but would rather just pay someone to do it right. Feel free to showcase the work you've done or had done if you're going to make a recommendation.

Also... may be a silly question but do the sights need to be removed or are those just taped off? I ask because I'm about to order some replacement sights from Dawson Precision for my Kahr. Unsure if I should install them when I get them or wait till it's time to send the slide off and install them when it comes back.

I'm not a cerakote application specialist, but 2 questions: will the sights hold up to being baked, and do you want the finish to be applied under the sights? I'm assuming the answers are no and yes. Install them when it comes back.

When I had my Glocks done, the sights were removed.

Perfect! I thought about stopping in George's to ask around too, but I try to refrain from going in there unless I got cash to spend.
