Saw a few plain ones with black synthetic stock going for around $230. I was looking for a cheaper one to turn into an Appleseed loaner gun but didn't see any under $225.

That is a good price! Just went and pulled the receipt for my other one. $170 out the door at the Elmendorf Sports Store, 11/29/1998.
