    I agree with Scutter's post above.
    The TDI is a handy little blade that's got great ergonomics. It can be in your pocket, on your belt, around your neck, ...etc.
    At about $28, it's a good deal.

    For a small knife that I carry every day I really like my Kershaw chive... Mine is blue similar to the red handled one here and the blade is 1-15/16 inches long, just what you need! ;)

    For a small knife that I carry every day I really like my Kershaw chive... Mine is blue similar to the red handled one here and the blade is 1-15/16 inches long, just what you need! ;)
    I have a chive and really like it as well. Nice small knife. But for a defensive, even with speedsafe AO, it leaves much to be desired.

    The main thing I don't like about the Chive in a defensive application is the size, not enough grip area. While it's a great EDC for utility, I also carry a Leek. For me, it fits the dual role much better.

    All that said. I am really liking the Ka Bar TDI. Almost bought one at Traildust a few weeks ago, but decided to leave as a Father's Day possibility.
